Hospital Report

Tom went through surgery well  (as expressed in his one word communication).   He is feeling well and pain free (every thing is still numb via the spinal block).  They assure us that this will change and tomorrow and tomorrow night will be bad days but then get better.  He is eating well already with no nausea and joking with the nurses so those are already good signs.  I am fading from the early morning start so will probably head for home early and plan to stay a long day tomorrow when he needs a hand holder!   Thanks to all of you for your thoughts and concerns. At this point everything is looking good!   sf
