Our bird-feeding has gone big! The seeds we put out for the little birds have also attracted some wild turkeys. So, the view from the "throne" in the master bathroom sometimes includes turkeys scratching around under the ponderosa pine up the slope from the house.Actually, it's pleasant to watch the birds of all sizes at the feeders and on the ground around them. And it adds some excitement to the lives of cats Fifi and Sophie. TV

At zero degrees before dawn this morning, one could easily have been stuck to a throne! And the dog decided she needed four trips outside before sun-up.
